Below are quick links to the QLD Government Town Study Maps available through Floodcheck.
These investigations increase the level of detail from the floodplain maps so that general flood hazard areas and stream velocities can be identified. The approach relies on local knowledge, historic information, and a basic analysis of stream flow. As such this approach can be applied to towns when the anticipated impact of floods is generally low.

Town Flood Studies (level 2)

Town level flood modelling is of a much higher resolution, accuracy and offers more output options than basin level modelling.
