Shade areas of interest on a map
Select a parcel
To select a parcel, run a query.
Go to Query.
Select Lot on plan extent.
Type your Lot on Plan number in the Search field.
Select the Search result that matches your search.
In the Result layer name
Edit the default to what you want your new layer to be called. eg 1 William St
Select Apply
Your area of interest will be highlighted on the map.
Change colour shading
Select the Ellipse icon in the Query Panel.
A popup will display.
Select Change symbol.
Select your colour of choice from the pre-defined choices or manually select the following:
Fill colour and transparency.
Outline colour and size.
Select OK.
Your map will now reflect the changes to colour.
New query layer
Once you have completed your query, you will now be able to see your new layer.
Go to Layer List.
Your new layer is now able to be selected in the dropdown. Tick the box to display the highlighted areas.
Once selected, the map displays the colour selection chosen.
Note: If you leave the session, the new layer created, will be removed.

To Print the map follow these instructions to Print Map your layer or
Follow these instructions to Save Session.
Printer outputs
Note: In the legend, the new layer generated is currently called Override 1 by default.
This cannot be changed by the user, at this point of time.
