Coordinate Systems and Transformations for GDA2020

In line with Queensland’s adoption of GDA2020, Department of Resources Imagery services have been configured to allows users to consume data in GDA2020 at the client end. By default, the services are presented in WGS84 Web Mercator (auxiliary sphere).

A Seven parameter similarity transformation has been applied to new projects that have been captured in GDA2020, this is to ensure that they align and display correctly when published in the default WGS 1984 Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere) projection alongside GDA94 projects.
