Query

The Query tool allows you to define a query by specifying source data and filters, and displaying fields in query results. Each query works with a single layer. However, you can define multiple queries for a single app, and data layers can be from multiple sources.

Data sources can be one of the following:

  • Feature layer in the current map.

  • Feature layer as an item in the portal.

  • Feature layer from an ArcGIS Server REST service.  

 

Tasks

  • Select the Query icon.

The popup will automatically display multiply tabs to query under the Tasks tab.

  • Select one of the tabs you want to query.

Survey plan

  • Select the Survey plan tab.

  • Select the dropdown.

  • Type Plan number in the search field to narrow your search.

Note: All Capitals and no space eg. RP1

  • Click the Search more link.

  • Click on the required plan number from the dropdown.

This will add your plan into the initial dropdown field.

  • Then click on Apply button at the bottom of the popup.

You will automatically be taken to the Results tab.

  • Query results will be displayed in the pop up.

  • Results can be expanded/collapsed using the dropdown to the side.

  • Use the back arrow to go to the previous screen.

  • You can also select the Eclipse (Feature actions) icon for more options.

Connected survey control in map extent

For improved performance, zoom to your area of interest before selecting the tab.

  • Select the Connected survey control in map extent tab.

The Map view will update with Survey control marks.

The Query panel will automatically load to the Results tab.

The only dropdown is the Connected survey control in map extent – Query result.

  • Select the Up Arrow icon to collapse individual Survey control marks.

  • Select the Collapse / Expand all icon to apply this to all Survey control marks.

Under your Survey control mark

  • Select the Survey control connection to plan tab. Survey control mark information is displayed.

  • Select the Arrow icon to display further information.

  • Select the Ellipse icon to Export to CSV file.

Select a Survey control mark on the map

  • Use your mouse to select a Survey Control mark on the map. The map will highlight the mark selected.

Information will be displayed in the Information panel.

The Information panel displays multiple options:

  • Pages of information

  • Zoom to

  • Clear Selected

  • Ellipse icon

  • Select the Ellipse icon to display further options.

  • Select the Survey Report Link to view a pdf.

Land parcel - Lease and Reserve Details

For improved performance, zoom to your area of interest before selecting the tab.

  • Select the Land parcel - Lease and Reserve Details tab.

  • Select the Query criteria dropdown.

  • Select the type required.

  • Click Apply

The Query panel will automatically go to the Results tab and display relevant Lot on Plans.

  • Select the required Lot boundary Arrow icon.

The map view will zoom to Lot boundary and the Query panel will display additional information under the Lot on Plan.

To return to the Query panel home screen

  • Click on the Task tab.

  • Click on the Back arrow.

The Query panel home http://screen.is now displayed.

Multiple land parcel detail

For improved performance, zoom to your area of interest before selecting the tab.

  • Select the Multiply land parcel detail tab.

  • Select one of the Draw options to select a land parcel/s.

Note: you can only select one draw option at a time.

  • Use the Trash icon to remove your selection from the map.

  • Update required fields.

  • Select Search distance measurement if required.

  • Click on the map view to start drawing and follow prompts.

  • Select Apply

The map view will zoom to your selection.
