The Draw tool allows you to draw simple graphics and text on the map. You can also use it to add line distance or polygon area to the map as text.

Show location measurement
All Point options have the ability to turn on Show location measurement.
This allows you to view location measurements on the map.

Select the Degrees dropdown and click format type required.
Font formatting
Once selected there is an option to change the font colour and size.

Click in the font colour field to update the colour.
To change colour you can either:
1. Drag the slider (Do not click - ONLY DRAG)
Then click on desired colour using your mouse, or
2. Update the r,g,b fields, or
3. Update the hex field.

Handy Hints
Colour not changing - If you drag the slider and the colour isn’t changing, go to the bottom left corner of the box and use the crosshair to drag the Saturation Selector icon into the middle.

Undo: Will undo the last placement

Note: All formatting options must be updated prior to placing the symbol on the map.

Select the transparency and width of the line.

Show length measurement

Turn off Show measurement length if you don’t want the measurement displayed on the map or turn on if required.

Select the dropdown next to Unit to select require measurement type.

Update the font colour and weight of the measurement to be displayed on the map.
Draw your line on the map - Press down to start and let go to finish your line.
Note: If you press CTRL, it will enable snapping.
Arrow

To insert text on your map:

Select the Text icon.

Type your text in the text field.

Update Font colour.

Note: There is a preview above the text field.
