  • Refinery – A refinery is a production facility composed of a group of chemical engineering unit processes and unit operations refining certain materials or converting raw material into products of value.

  • Scientific Research – A facility built for the purpose of conducting scientific research.

  • Shed – A non-habitable building, generally detached from the main residence where equipment and produce can be stored.

  • Shipping Terminal – A building associated with the shipping of goods and passengers via the sea.

  • Shopping Centre – A large, separated building with a variety of stores for shopping and with associated food courts and entertainment precincts.

  • Smelter – A facility designed to extract and purify metals from their ores by heating to extremely high temperatures.

  • Sports Facility – A building housing suitable facilities where the public assemble to engage in various physical activities or witness sporting events.

  • Sports Stadium - A purpose-built venue (mostly outdoors) designed for the playing and watching of sports and other events.
