Draw

·         Select one of the draw tools that suits your needs.

Point option

·         Select the Point option to show formatting options.

·         The 5 symbols highlighted have the option of:

·         Symbol size

·         Colour (Fill)

·         Transparency

·         Outline colour

·         Outline width

·         The remaining symbols are as displayed with the ability to resize.

Show location measurement

All Point options have the ability to turn on Show location measurement.

This allows you to view location measurements on the map.

·         Select the Degrees dropdown and click format type required.

Font formatting

Once selected there is an option to change the font colour and size.

·         Click in the font colour field to update the colour.

To change colour you can either:

1. Drag the slider (Do not click - ONLY DRAG)

Then click on desired colour using your mouse, or

2. Update the r,g,b fields, or

3. Update the hex field.

Handy Hints

Colour not changing - If you drag the slider and the colour isn’t changing, go to the bottom left corner of the box and use the crosshair to drag the Saturation Selector icon into the middle.

Undo Redo & Clear

·         Undo: Will undo the last placement

·         Redo: Will update the undos

·         Clear: Will clear ALL symbols

(Not just the symbol type you are working on)

 Note: All formatting options must be updated prior to placing the symbol on the map.
