State-wide datasets can vary in source and scale depending on the location. The following PDf maps show the coverage and availability of data:

Contour data

You can view or download contour data a number of ways:

1m Contours

You can download the 1m contours from the Qld Spatial Catalogue but not as a single file. Due to the volume of data in this dataset, it is highly recommended you select small areas only as the datafile will take some to to come through via email. It only allows you to extract data by local government area, city or suburb (locality) or freehand over small areas. Instructions are here.

5m Contours

You can download 5m contours from the Qld Spatial Catalogue. The Central, South and North Queensland datasets can be downloaded as a single Esri SHP file and will display at 1:25,000. The Contours - 5 metre - Queensland - by area of interest cannot be downloaded as a single file. It only allows you to extract data by local government area, city or suburb (locality) or freehand over small areas. Instructions are here.

10m Contours
