...
The Land Parcel Property Framework (LPPF) web service Addresses (layer 0) will also have a new data source with slight changes to attribute content.
If you are using the current LPPF service from The LPPF https://gisservices, this will be is deprecated, and you will need to transition to the new LPPF service at https://spatial-gis in these services, Addresses (layer 0) will have a new data source with slight changes to attribute content:
When?
27 October 2022
What is the impact?
An older address dataset, referred to as ‘Address_QAMF’ (QAMF), is being deprecated. This will be replaced in the products above with the newer address dataset referred to as ‘Location_Address’ (Location address).
There should be minimal impact on users of these datasets, as the newer products have been available for some time.
The Location address dataset more closely mirrors requirements of the AS/NZS 4819:2011 Rural and urban addressing standard.
The increased field options available in the Location address data allows for more user flexibility when querying the data, as well as assisting with easier rules for auto-generated cartography.
Location address data does not include a postcode component in the address string, as this is not managed by Resources. The focus of this data is location-based and is not intended to be postal addressing.
Location address data includes floor information, which QAMF did not.
More details of the changes to the content and names are highlighted in the further information below.
