Open data service deprecation
Due to the release of the new Queensland Digital Topographic data schema, the following services have been marked for deprecation on 30 June 2025. These are cached services and have not been updated for over 5 years. New map and vector tile services have replaced these and display current data. Please ensure to update all repositories and applications that utilise the below services.

Agricultural Land Audit deprecation
Agricultural Land Audit (ALA) was deprecated 9 December 2024.
Agriculture will replace some of the layers in ALA. Others will be archived or available under other headings in Queensland Globe.

Cloud migration project
As part of the department’s transition to the cloud, end-of-life infrastructure hosted on-premises has been shut down and replaced with services hosted in the cloud.
The department offers many open-data spatial services via a variety of protocols via its on-premises infrastructure, and the cloud services provide like-for-like replacement where possible, with functionality as near-to-identical as possible. However, due to underlying platform changes, slight differences in certain aspects are unavoidable. It is strongly recommended that transitioning usage of services be undertaken as a proactive activity, to allow time for adequate testing.
Below is a list of the open-data services for which the on-premises versions have now been deprecated, with a shutdown date provided, along with replacement service URLs, and any associated information.
