LiDAR data older than 3 years is available for free download from ELVIS Portal (hosted by Geoscience Australia).
(Resources publishes PDFs showing the location and extent of projects - digital elevation model (DEM) - a regular or irregular grid of elevation heights (PDF, 3.1MB) from photogrammetric projects or current and proposed airborne laser scanning (LiDAR) projects (PDF, 2.4MB)).
To view the footprint of DEM and Point Cloud data, click on the Layers button in the top menu and check the boxes. You can adjust the opacity of the layers to view the base imagery in the keymap.
