The department offers many open-data spatial services via a variety of protocols via its on-premises infrastructure. It is the department’s intention to provide like-for-like replacement services where possible, with functionality as near-to-identical as possible. However, due to underlying platform changes, small slight differences in certain aspects are unavoidable. As such, it is strongly recommended that transitioning usage of services be undertaken as a proactive activity, to allow time for adequate testing.
